Should you insert 30 Rosaries in Hollow Knight: Silksong?

Here's what you should do at the “Insert Rosaries” prompt in Silksong.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is out, and you just know it has a ton of secrets and strange choices you can make. One of them is found quite early in the game, asking you to spend 30 hard-earned Rosaries without knowing what will happen.

During one of the earliest stages of the game, just after you’ve passed the first shop and village, you’ll walk into a strange bell contraption. Going near it prompts you to interact with it, and then asks you to spend 30 Rosaries without revealing what will happen.

Rosaries are the primary currency in shops and other locations in Hollow Knight: Silksong and are quite valuable, so spending 30 of your first ones is a tough choice. However, pressing “Yes” here rewards you with a Rest spot, i.e., a bonfire, meaning you get a checkpoint for the low, low price of 30 Rosaries.

Thus, I think you should go for “Yes” here, since having an extra starting point to explore from is always welcome and will spare you the significant backtracking you’d have to do otherwise (given your last rest spot was way back in the village).
