Shinobi is coming to take revenge on your cellphone’s battery

Sega is adding another game to its free collection known as Sega Forever. The latest addition is Revenge of Shinobi, the first console exclusive game in the classic series that features the series’ star being pissed and seeking revenge on his enemies for capturing his wife. One of the most notable features was the soundtrack, composed by Yuzo Koshiro (who has done way too much great work to summarize).

As with the other games in Sega Forever, Revenge of Shinobi will feature cloud saves, controller support, and leaderboards and be available on iOS and Android. You can also pay $1.99 to remove ads from the game, though they only appear during menu screens, so its not that intrusive. Really, if you’re as good of a ninja as Shinobi, you won’t even see the ads.
