There’s a lot of nuance with Shindo Life Bloodlines where most of them can be good if you practice and are skilled enough. However, the high-tier ones below are generally more powerful and easier to be competitive with due to their higher potential for PVP or PVE. Here’s my Shindo Life Bloodlines tier list and guide.

Shindo Life Bloodlines Ranked
All of the entries below are the best Bloodlines in Shindo Life split into tiers from higher to lower potential. While DPS numbers are a major factor in the rankings, I also took into account combo potential, utility and specific strategies. The ones that aren’t on the tier list are still usable but generally have a much lower potential for PVP(Left)/PVE(Right) or there’s a Bloodline on here that does everything in almost the same way but better. Check out the individual ranking reasons below the tier list.

Best Bloodline Leveling Methods:
- Autoclick AFK at the Training Log
- Farm Green and Orange Scroll quests
- Grind War (I recommend doing it with friends)
- Use the mode if your Bloodline has one (Easier progression plus passive EXP gain per second)
PVP Bloodline Highlights (Ranking Reasons)
Note on A-Tiers: Below I’m mostly commenting on S-Tiers but as for A-Tiers, they’re usually less flexible and require a more focused playstyle like the Taijutsu-focused Kenichi variants.
| Bloodline | Ranking Notes |
|---|---|
![]() Kamaki Akuma/Inferno | • Both variants are great • One of the best counters in the game due to massive damage reflection • You also get a lot of rushdown moves for offense • Plus a ton of damage reduction in final form for defense but the first form also has a great AOE combo starter move |
![]() Ashura-Shizen | • Massive damage reduction via the buddha statue form • Excellent ranged high-damage moves that track and stun with some of them draining chi • A meta mix of damage, utility and defense |
![]() Getsuga | • The grab is an amazing move • The Rasensuga gives you great mobility, guardbreaks and chi steal • Plus your mode gives you massive damage reduction • Such a powerhouse for PVP |
![]() Indra-Akuma | • Massive damage reduction in PVP with susano • High damage moves and stuns • The second move is great for combos • Just an overall PVP powerhouse |
![]() Code-Gaiden | • Meta due to controlling your opponenets position with traps that teleport them to you for combos • It’s so difficult to play if you get caught in one since it messes up enemy cooldowns • Not the most powerful in terms of raw damage but one of the most opressive Bloodlines in Shindo |
![]() Raion-Gaiden | • Such a powerful PVP move with the dragon black flames which is extremely hard to dodge (counters auto-dodge) and is unblockable dealing great damage and draining stamina • You also have CC with the second move and an great guardbreak with the third |
![]() Rykan-Shizen | • Just overall great for move spamming high-damage moves at great range and then playing aggressively around your golem • The strongest variant for PVP |
![]() Aizden | • Some of the highest damage in the game and a bit of powercreep • It’s not OP since the moves don’t combo automatically and you have to learn when to use what • Still, you have great mobility with the dragon and it’s a great retreat tool |
![]() Ray/Sean-Kerada | • The boulder roll move is just so opressive with high mobility, guardbreaks and stun-locks • You basically force someone to back away and adapt to what you’re doing |
![]() Borumaki-Shiki | • Amazing mode and one of the best counters since it’s really easy to land • Some of the best PVP damage in the game along with the ones above |
![]() Strange | • Great damage and stuns that are so high because you also get a ton of sustain • The HP rewind in mode can heal you so much and basically negate crucial enemy moves in terms of damage if you play around your mode well • You also have a great blockbreaker and some stamina drain for utility against Taijutsu users |
![]() Raiden-Saberu | • High damage moves that are coupled with a really strong mode • Plus, you get a counter for a free air combo if you can land it |
![]() Tetsuo-Kaijin | • So good for PVP due to the unique ranged counter that pulls enemies and allows you to combo extend with melee moves |
![]() Jokei (+All Variants) | • The Kaiten rotation move is incredibly strong due to constant iFrames and constant stun-lock damage • Plus all Jokei variants have some of the best modes in the game for PVP plus chi steal so you can’t go wrong with any one • Light and Dark Jokei have the first move which is an instant block break • Arahaki Jokei has the longest range so it’s overall the best variant for PVP |
![]() Doku Tengoku | • One of the best combo starter moves in the game for stunlocking |
![]() Minakaze | • Excellent moves for PVP with the third move being especially powerful due to an instant teleporting combo starter • The mode is also difficult to play against due to constant teleports and mobility while also having some stunning potential |
![]() Powder | • No mode but this is a really strong Element-based support moveset for PVP • The third move is a free combo starter in most situations that you can extend with Taijutsu moves • The cloud is great for defense as it just allows you to CC enemies as you charge up chi |
![]() SnakeMan | • Fast long-range attacks with excellent damage and some block-break • Just an overall well balanced PVP moveset with answers to everything if you play and space well |
![]() Headless | • Just an array of great PVP moves that are very different from other Meta movesets and take getting used to • Both the pulling traps and the invisible flame traps are great for setting up combos • The counter in mode is really good too if you can bait enemies into it • Overall just great damage and stuns with some trickery mechanics to outplay your opponent |
PVE Bloodline Highlights (Ranking Reasons)
Note on A-Tiers: Below I’m mostly commenting on S-Tiers but as for A-Tiers, they’re usually about dealing high damage to bosses with one of their moves or being really strong against bosses due to their modes.
| Bloodline | Ranking Notes |
|---|---|
![]() Apollo Sand | • Probably the best PVE moveset for farming large bosses due to the third move • Just overall does a ton of damage if you’re fighting easy to hit enemies |
![]() Shado | • Works on all kinds of bosses and nukes them while in mode if you kite properly |
![]() Mud | • Extremely underrated due to the first move where you can double jump so that the move goes across the boss’ hitbox for massive damage • Meta for boss farming and it’s on a low CD • Great for beginners like Ice |
![]() Shindai Variants | • Tons of boss damage with clones and M2s |
![]() Xeno Dokai | • One of the best transformation modes in the game for boss hunting due to amazing M1s |
![]() Shiver Akuma | • Just spam the form 4 Q spec which annihilates smaller bosses |
![]() Ice | • If you use the third move from the side of a wall while looking down at the boss you can do a ton of damage due to the hitbox exploit • Great beginner Bloodline for PVE |
![]() ![]() Emerald and Crystal | • Very similar to Ice where you’re looking to position to hit your moves while affecting as much of the boss’ hitbox as you can either on the ground or on a wall |
![]() Lava | • An excellent AOE option for PVE that requires a bit more kiting than the rest of S-Tiers • You want to maneuver the boss to stand in your AOEs as much as possible |
