Shaq promises that Shaq Fu 2 is ‘coming soon’

And he might have actually been serious

Shaquille O’Neal is at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show, which makes me happy. What makes me even happier, however, is that when jokingly asked by GamerFitNation if we’d ever get to see a sequel to 1994’s Shaq Fu, he said yes. And that it’s “coming soon.”

Even though I’d love for this to be true — to be able to witness what a modern-day Shaq Fu would look like — it’s unclear if Shaq was being genuine in the interview. That said, a trademark for “SHAQFIGHTER” was filed earlier this year.

Crazy as it all sounds, this is not completely outside the realm of possibility.
