Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is getting physical, physical

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero concluded its funding in October of 2013, and it’s still in production. WayForward has been giving out a decent amount of updates, but we’re still no closer to getting a real release window.

In the meantime, the publisher notes that things are going well, and that the process has started to pick a design for the rival Genie (you can access the backer-only vote here). Also, “top tier publisher negotiations” have started to actually get those copies out in stores and it’s going physical! Given WayForward’s old school approach, I’m sure fans appreciate the option.
