To finish the Shadow Tag quest, you need to help Peter Pan track down his missing shadow. There’s quite a lot you need to get done to find it, so here’s a full walkthrough of all essential steps.

Talk to Minnie Mouse

Peter Pan thought he heard Minnie Mouse scream, so work on tracking her down around the valley with him to have a chat about what happened. She thinks she saw it in her house, so go with her and Peter Pan inside her home, wherever you have it placed around the main valley or one of the DLC worlds.

Search Minnie Mouse’s house for Peter Pan’s shadow

Once you’re inside her house, interact with the red lamp on the end table near the left side of the bed. As soon as you do, Peter Pan’s shadow will briefly appear. It gets away, though, so chat with him about what to do next.

Craft the Shadow Spotlight

To catch the Shadow, you need to trap it in a spotlight like you previously did in the Shadows on the Wall quest. Before you can replicate this process, you need to craft four Shadow Spotlights you can use. To make these items, you need:

  • 15 Glass
  • Six Iron Ingots
  • Two Diamonds

Once you have all of the required materials, head to any crafting station around the valley and switch over to the Functional Items category. Select the Shadow Spotlight option and make four of them.

With the four Shadow Spotlights made, track down Sally around the village to chat and acquire a helpful Shadow Thread item. With this item in your inventory, you can now meet back up with Peter Pan to progress.

Meet with Peter Pan

Head to Belle and The Beast’s castle, wherever you have it placed, to check in with Peter Pan about what to do next. Once you’re inside, give the Shadow Thread you got from Sally to him.

It’s now time to place the handy Shadow Spotlights you previously made. Walk over to the long red carpet lining the middle of the castle and interact with each of the four sparkling spots along it to place down all four lights.

After they’ve been placed, the Shadow will be trapped just like it was before. Listen as Kristoff chats to Peter Pan and works on sewing his Shadow back to him. Chat with Peter Pan once they’re done to officially conclude the Shadow Tag quest as he’s now officially reunited with his Shadow.
