Gearbox has sent along the first high-res screenshot of Borderlands, apparently wishing to hammer home what we all know by now — the game is looking really bloody good. This screenshot is said by Gearbox to be completely in-game, and shows off how gorgeous this not-supposed-to-be-cel-shaded-but-people-say-it-is graphical style can be.
The level of detail is really impressive. While cel-shaded games typically look really good, they’ve never looked as rich and deep as this. I really cannot wait to see the thing in motion, because if the animation is just as good as the still imagery, this could be the hottest looking title of the year.
Also, that redheaded bint would get it.
