You read that headline correctly. Square Enix and Nintendo have a Seth Green-starring commercial for their latest consumer of souls, Dragon Quest IX. It’s airing right now in North America, apparently, and is decidedly more, uh, “normal” than its Japanese counterpart.
I liked it, mostly because I dig the idea of Green playing his DS in public and randomly spouting off in-game choices he made to teenage girls. Then again, I’m easy to please when it comes to this stuff and know little about Dragon Quest IX — other than Tomonobu Itagaki and Chad Concelmo‘s love for it.
