Sensible World of Soccer and Tempest on XBLA this Wednesday

Some of you have been stressing over Sensible World of Soccer ever since it was first announced for Live Arcade, so I’m happy to say that it’ll finally be released this Wednesday for 800 Microsoft Points, along with Tempest for 400 Microsoft Points.

Considered to be a classic by many, Sensible World of Soccer is going high-def and online for XBLA. Fans of the series should also be pleased to know that this version uses the code from SWOS ’96/’97 (apparently the best game of the bunch).

If you are unfamiliar with Tempest, then I suggest you never tell another human being that you’re knowledgeable of videogames. Not much to say about this port, other than the fact that its got updated graphics and the same hyper-speed mode that’s been tacked onto previous arcade remakes on Live Arcade.

Do either of these look good? I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to resist getting Tempest.
