Marvelous’ Senran Kagura has always been a shameful pleasure of mine, and that shame comes to a head with the latest release Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash. This multiplayer water gun shooter may seem like Splatoon with waifus, but this Japanese trailer for the game shows us what Peach Beach Splash has to offer beyond waifu physics.
Various weapon types, stat boosts, and then, uh, a very distressing minigame where you poke a girl until she cries. There’s also quite a bit of, uh, interactivity that I’m sure some of us will get quite a bit out of. Honestly, no one gives the fans what they want like Marvelous. I even have a favorite girl here.
Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash releases in Japan for PlayStation 4 on March 16th. There’s a Western release planned at a later date.
