Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice’s PC specs are far from hardcore

Sekiro’s Speciros

It won’t be easy playing Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. From Software has made it perfectly clear that although this isn’t a Souls game, the difficulty will still be there. Sekiro won’t be a walk in the park (or, if you prefer, a swing through the park).

But, it should be easy running Sekiro. From Software has released the PC specs on Steam, and they’re pretty light by 2019’s standards. Here’s the baseline minimum that’s needed to run Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Minimum Specs:

  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8 64-bit, or Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-2100, AMD FX-6300
  • RAM: 4GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760, AMD Radeon HD 7950
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Internet: Broadband Internet connection
  • HDD: 25GB
  • Sound Card: DirectX 11 Compatible

Things don’t get all that intense for an optimal experience. Here’s what From Software recommends:

Recommended specs:

  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8 64-bit, or Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K, AMD Ryzen 5 1400
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970, AMD Radeon RX 570
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Internet: Broadband Internet connection
  • HDD: 25GB
  • Sound Card: DirectX 11 Compatible

Even if you’re dying twice (and then many more times), at least you can take solace in the fact that your computer probably won’t struggle much at all. These are not the Dark Souls of PC specs.
