Sega’s awesome mech battle series Virtual On is headed to the PS4, with the first three titles having been announced for release during a broadcast by Tanita Official.

For those less inclined, the Virtual On arcades are a series of arena-fighters that feature huge mechs battling it out in technically charged, explosive warfare. Arcade and Sega Saturn release Virtual On: Cyber Troopers leads the pack, followed by Dreamcast title Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Oratorio Tangram, and finally Japan-only Xbox 360 release Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Force.

If that wasn’t enough, Tanita Official also revealed that the re-releases will be compatible with the special Twin-Stick controller that the company is currently crowdfunding, ahead of the release of A Certain Magical Virtual-On. This will allow for that authentic Virtual On experience. No further details pertaining to price or release date have been announced.
