Sega’s 13 consoles, 12 boards personified for Vita game

Samurai & Dragons card packs

I was already behind Sega’s Vita title Samurai & Dragons from the name alone, but as a Sega fan I really like where they’re going with upcoming content. This free-to-play Kingdom Conquest follow-up will see two different special monster card packs released in Japan soon. One is made up of personified Sega consoles, and the other personified Sega hardware. Oh, Japan.

The console one features 13 Segakko, or Sega’s Daughters, and everything from the Dreamcast to the Game Gear will be turned into a cute girl. SGCafe says that Hatsune Miku’s illustrator, Kei, is the one behind their designs. This pack will launch in Japan on Feb. 1.

32X is adorable! Why is SG-1000 crying?

It’s so great that the famed Sega hardware sets are also getting personified. NAOMI, Model2, and the various Sega System hardware sets will get character treatments from famed designers. Get a peek at some of the upcoming designs in our gallery, where you’ll find screencaps from a recent stream.

If you’re dying to play Samurai & Dragons after reading this, an English version will be coming to Asia sometime this year.
