Previously set for a spring 2017 release, throwback platformer Sonic Mania is now targeting a summer launch on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, Sega has confirmed.

Along with the disappointing but ultimately understandable schedule-slip news, the company dropped off a trailer with a look at Sonic Mania‘s take on Flying Battery Zone from Sonic & Knuckles.

The music cuts off just as it’s heating up. If you’d like the full (original) tune stuck in your head, by all means.
