Puyo Puyo is one of those games you’ve either been playing forever or have never heard of. If it’s the latter and you’re a fan of puzzle games, I have to tell you, you’re missing out, because Puyo Puyo is just plain awesome.
Sega announced Puyo Puyo 7 is coming soon to the Wii, PSP and Nintendo DS in the most recent issue of Famitsu. The DS gets it first, on July 30th, with the versions for the other two consoles coming later in the year. Will these make it to the U.S.? Well, considering its history, I have to say the chances are slim, but import any one of these titles and you won’t be disappointed. I got together with a group for a games night once and the entire evening was lost to Puyo Puyo 15th anniversary.
In other words, bring this one to America, Sega! I miss me some Puyo Puyo!
