See those ‘next gen’ Unreal Engine 3 graphics yourself

Remember us telling you that select press were going to get to see Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 cranking out the next generation of game graphics during GDC 2011? That happened, and those press members came away impressed. 

Now you can see some of what they saw in this video. The trailer, called Samaritan, showcases the power of UE3 and DirectX 11 together. IGN says that Epic is releasing this updated Unreal Engine development kit today, March 9th. I can’t wait to see what others do with this power.

The video is as cool as I heard it was. People being crushed and heads exploding in slow motion are always fun. What do you think?
