Secret 11 bit studios game is none other than Anomaly 2

Did you pre-order at half price before it was announced?

11 bit studios allowed people to pre-order its new, unannounced game with only a teaser trailer to go off of. In exchange for this leap of faith, the developer offered a tempting discount of 50 percent. The mystery project was revealed today, and as we probably should have expected, it’s a direct sequel to the popular “tower offense” game Anamoly: Warzone Earth.

Anomaly 2 once again has players controlling troops on the battlefield rather than defensive structures, this time in the tundra — with mechs! The studio promises upwards of a million combinations for tactical squads, as well as multiplayer in which one person commands the humans while the other is in charge of alien towers.

Now that the aforementioned pre-order offer is void, the game’s pricing is set at $14.99 with release scheduled for Q2 2013 on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
