Back when I felt it was time to upgrade from the DS Lite, I ordered a special DSi bundle from Walmart that came with a choice of two games. One of those games was the insufferably named Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, which I only picked up because everything else looked like sh*t. It was a somewhat decent time-killer, even though it often made me want to claw the skin off my face, but what stuck out most was the recurring symbolism of eating ice cream with friends.
The featured flavor of ice cream is sea-salt, which KH creator Tetsuya Nomura incorporated in the games after he tried some at the Tokyo DisneySea theme park and fell in love with the taste. For me and apparently many other KH players, something about that bluish concoction was strangely appealing. I gotta make a batch somehow!
Well, Feast of Fiction has once again come to save the day, crawling into my mind and making my dream a reality. Jimmy and Ash just know, man! They just know!
