SDCC: Don’t believe violent Mega Man Comic-Con rumors

Recommended Videos

With Comic-Con having opened its doors to the public, a number of rumors quickly sprung up concerning trouble at the Capcom booth. There have been allegations of disturbances due to the cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3, but it seems they’re all nonsense.

Capcom itself has killed off a rumor that Mega Man cosplayers were being turned away from its booth by security, and that anybody who dared utter the franchise’s name was to be cast out. The publisher has said that it “welcomes all cosplayers” and that anything said to the contrary is false.

Even more outrageous is the rumor that a fan punched Seth Killian in the face. This has yet to be corroborated by any official source, least of all by Seth himself, who has already let us know that his beautiful face is intact.

While it’s possible that there could be trouble at Comic-Con, remember that we gamers are geeks, no matter how angry we get. Geeks are physical cowards, and so the chance of a fight starting are slim to none.
