Scribblenauts Remix gets a celebratory update

Scribblenauts Remix, or as my younger cousin calls it, “Scribblesnot” has a lot to be thankful for. As of today, the rooster-headed wordsmith simulator has sold over one million copies on iOS. To celebrate, in true iOS fashion, the game is getting a free Valentines Day update that adds a few new love themed items to the experience.

Personally, I found Remix’s cheap price and simple iOS touchscreen interface extremely enticing. I’m glad that 5th Cell wasn’t forced to rely on one platform for their sales, and were still able to turn a profit porting to iOS despite selling the game at the meager price of $1.99.

Remix also supports additional features over the DS games, like Game Center achievements and cloud saving (including the ability to jump from device to device with the same save).
