Scrap Mechanic lets players build vehicular monstrosities from gathered materials

It looks like Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and that’s great

I said it when the TerraTech Kickstarter was running and I’ll say it again: Building vehicles from individual parts and then driving/flying/careening them around is awesome. Scrap Mechanic looks like it really takes that to heart.

Despite being composed of early alpha footage, the trailer above looks great. Showing off some of the possible vehicles, it begins with what could be a reference to the basic trolley from Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, but quickly transitions to ziplines, convertible vehicles, and a hilariously impractical spider-car.

Scrap Mechanic is currently seeking approval on Steam Greenlight.
