Schedule 1 updates roadmap: New maps, cartels, and more

Schedule 1 has taken the gaming community by surprise, as the solo developer-backed game has been a surprise hit so far.

If you’re enjoying the in-game content and expanding your drug empire, there’s more stuff waiting for you. The official Trello consists of a host of plans posted by the developer, and here are some of the highlights of what could appear next.

It’s worth keeping in mind how some of the planned features might take a longer time to arrive.

Schedule 1 roadmap explained

Schedule 1 already has a fair amount of content for players to explore, which includes different regions, drugs, and more. Tyler has already mentioned that much more content is planned during early access, and here are the highlights.

• New Drug types and products, with some of them being new variants of the existing stuff that we already have inside the game.
• Different types of weather with NPCs reacting to them.
• Various groups of traveling customers will be available at Hyland Point. All of them will have their preferred drugs to purchase.
• Cartels, with some of them trying to sabotage your business.
• New map expansions in the southwest and northeast parts, with new locations, POIs, and more.
• More workers with deeper specializations to help you automate the production process.
• Custom packaging.
• More interactions with the police and the chance to bribe them.
• New shooting range with exclusive minigames.
• Drivers and logistics workers for hire.
• Raids on your properties.
• Ability to customize and renovate your existing properties.
• Fishing minigame.
• Establishment of sewer networks.

It’s unclear as to when we will get all these updated features in Schedule 1. We have already received two post-launch updates, but they have focused on fixing the apparent bugs and glitches. It will be interesting out more about the upcoming content, and I am really excited to have cartels and more interaction options.

Till then, it’s best to keep expanding your empire and increase your player level to prepare for the upcoming updates.
