Say goodbye to EA Los Angeles and hello to Danger Close

Electronic Arts Los Angeles, the team behind Medal of Honor, has opted for a more memorable name. Going forward, the studio will be known as Danger Close. Those who are familiar with military terminology or have played any war-centric shooters in the last few years will surely recognize the term.

Here’s the reasoning behind this sudden change:

Medal of Honor is the first game to fall under the Danger Close studio. And because the term “Danger Close” is all about pushing the boundaries, it’s the perfect fit for Medal of Honor given the team’s decision to take on a story that is both controversial and one that needs to be told.”

A reasonable explanation for a rather neat name. If nothing else, the logo absolutely rocks.
