Today at the Oculus Connect 2 conference in Los Angeles, Samsung Mobile Senior Vice President of Technology Strategy Peter Koo unveiled the company’s next generation of Gear VR headsets.

Koo stated the device will be compatible with Samsung’s entire 2015 lineup of smartphones, which include the Samsung Note 5, Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, and S6 Edge +.

Samsung plans to release the new model in the United States this November for $99 in order to hit shelves before Black Friday and the holiday season. A global launch will follow shortly thereafter.

In addition to being cheaper than the current “Innovator Edition” of Gear VR (which retails for $199), Samsung says the new headset as 22 percent lighter and more comfortable than its predecessor.

In addition to being a fancy pair of goggles, Gear VR uses a trackpad, back button, accelerometer, and gyroscope to supplement Samsung smartphones’ hardware and high-definition screen.
