THQ has confirmed that the third installment in the rather excellent Saints Row series, handily named Saints Row 3, is going to release later this year. In the Fall, to be exact!
According to THQ CEO Brian Farrell, Volition is “setting a new bar for this outstanding franchise,” with more information to be unveiled in the near future.
That’s all we really know so far, but I am damn excited. Saints Row 2 is one of my favorite games of the generation, so I cannot wait to get back into a world of crossdressing, poo-spraying and scarily psychotic justifications for completely unreasonable violence against those who disagree with us.
It’s going to be a blast!
