Sacred Odyssey: Rise of Ayden brings a lil’ Zelda to iOS

Gameloft recently teased its latest “inspired” iPhone title, which drew comparisons with later Legend of Zelda titles. Today, the mobile developer has lifted the veil on its new adventure game — Sacred Odyssey: Rise of Ayden.

It seems to have everything you’d expect from a Zelda clone — blocks, bombs, chests, swords and bosses. Your mileage may vary when it comes to deciding if this is an acceptable homage or an evil rip-off. I’ll definitely be playing it, regardless.

The game is due out some time in February.
