Here’s a rumor for you that could well be bollocks, but is something to mull over on a Saturday morning regardless. An Infinity Ward insider is reported to have said that the Call of Duty developer is currently working on a science fiction title that could be announced soon.
“We are currently working on a new sci-fi title, we cannot release any more information as of yet, we may or may not announce it at E3,” stated the mysterious bean spiller.
Of course, if this is true, there’s no indication that it would be part of the Call of Duty series, but that franchise is Infinity Ward’s bread and butter. Would a Call of Duty: In Space This Time work for you guys, or would a brand new IP be more IPealing?
