Rumor: Team ICO HD Collection rumored for Q1 2011

A rather substantial rumor has slapped into the Internet’s greasy hands today, with talk of a nostalgic collection that will bring ICO and Shadow of the Colossus to the PS3 in HD. The rumor has been reported by both VG247 and The Sixth Axis. Everybody knows that two sources make a rumor true!

The rumors say that the HD re-releases will launch in the first quarter of next year, and if true, it will likely come out in time to promote Team ICO’s first big PS3 game, The Last Guardian. Naturally, this is all gormless speculation at the moment, so don’t hold your breath just yet. Would be pretty awesome if true though, no?
