Rumor: Syphon Filter to return on PS Vita

The UK version of the PlayStation: The Official Magazine, November 2011 edition, started this rumor. They say that Syphon Filter will make its return on Vita, and that it’s currently in development. Sony’s Bend studio is said to be working on it — the same folks that are doing Uncharted: Golden Abyss, another Vita title.

SCE Bend is currently hard at work on Uncharted: Golden Abyss, but its hush-hush Vita project is a return to Syphon Filter.

The rumor says that we should expect Syphon Filter Vita in 2012.

Those up on their gaming watercooler talk will know that a PS3 version of Syphon Filter 4 is also rumored to be coming next year. Too much syphoning? Say syphon 5 times.
