A Dutch Sega fansite seems to have discovered that Sonic Adventure is on its way to Xbox Live Arcade. Not only that, but something called Sonic Adventure Extend Package is also in the works. If I had to take a guess, Extend Package could be the bonus content that came with Sonic Adventure DX for the GameCube such as the bonus Game Gear games.
This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise as Sega likes to re-package their old games (not that that’s a bad thing.) Plus, if you remember the leaked Sega documents, Sega was interested in bringing Dreamcast games to the digital market.
We’ve reached out to Sega to see what they have to say on the matter. Until then, is anyone excited? I would be, but then I remember that I would have to play through all of Big the Cat’s levels again.
