Rockman Xover adds a Mega Man ZX-themed world

Yep, this game is still a thing

Rockman Xover is still a thing that Capcom insists on supporting, and recently it just obtained a major update — an entire Mega Man ZX world. In addition to the new set of stages, the game is also getting a sweet Zero-themed armor called “OVER-Z,” as well as ZX-themed bosses.

This game is a major shame in a lot of ways, but particularly because it wastes an opportunity for a good “All-Stars” Mega Man outing (cough). Since I was a kid, I had dreamed of a game where characters from every Mega Man sub-franchise could interact with each other in some form or another, and Rockman Xover could have been so much more than a rushed iOS grab.
