Rocket League is getting Cross-Play for Xbox One and PC today

Starting at 6PM ET

I have been off the Rocket League train for a long while, but I’m glad to see it succeed like this. A few developers that I’ve spoken to recently have noted its success as an inspiration, and even have in-house tournaments for it. Now, Xbox One and PC players can play together, finally.

Starting today at 6PM ET, Rocket League will be part of that grand “we’re opening up the Cross-Play floodgates now” strategy from Microsoft. It will include both public and private matches (via an options checkbox), so don’t worry.
