Rock of the Dead coming to 360, PS3 with a ton of extras

As hinted to me back when I previewed the game in March, Epicenter’s “kill zombies with instrument peripherals” title Rock of the Dead is getting an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. This in addition to the previously revealed Wii version of the title, but here’s the rub — the 360 and PS3 versions come packed with a ton of extra content, according to a recent 1UP preview.

Outside of the expected — high definition visual updates and online leaderboards — the PS3/360 game will exclusively feature eight songs by Rob Zombie, as well as his band, White Zombie. Additionally, Zombie will be featured as a boss in the game; players can collect eight pieces of his body to form a Frankenstein’s monster-like version of the rocker.

Also included will be support for drums, letting players pound the skins to take out the game’s myriad of horrors. For more info on Rock of the Dead, check out the preview we ran awhile back.
