Rock Guitar Hero: Metallica tracks in Warriors of Rock

The list of music you can play in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock just got a lot larger. That is, of course, if you already own Guitar Hero: Metallica.

Activision has announced today that wannabe rockers will be able to export 39 tracks from Guitar Hero: Metallica‘s 49-song soundtrack to their hard drives for play in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. Even better, if you buy Warriors of Rock between its September 28 launch date and October 5, the export is completely free. (This offer is good for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 only.) The export will regularly cost $5.99/480 MS Points/600 Wii Points.

The list of songs that made the cut can be found below, and it includes Metallica classics (“Whiplash,” “Enter Sandman,” “Fade to Black”) as well as tracks by other artists like Social Distortion and Motorhead.
