Complete Dark Journey Tier List – Best Class, Weapon, and Items

Dark Journey is another take on the popular Dead Rails formula that’s currently trending in Roblox. This time, it’s a familiar medieval take on the formula. We board a cart, feed our horse, and see how much we can survive traveling while gathering as many valuable items along the way. Of course, things are much easier if we equip the right class and bring the right items. To help you out, we made this complete Dark Journey tier list for classes, weapons, and items.

Dark Journey Class Tier List

There are several classes in Dark Journey, and most of them can be unlocked by spending Dabux. You can get Dabux by collecting them throughout the game or by spending Robux. Some classes in Dark Journey can only be unlocked through gameplay. Down below, we’ll list all classes currently in the game and rank them accordingly.

S-Tier

Because you can’t really tell the difference between each class, we’re going to put items and enemies that best associate with each class.

Vampire	Eliminate Vampire Lord	– Dark Sword – Increases move speed by 20%	The movement speed is nice, but where the Vampire shines is the ability to heal with each hit. The best class for solo play by far and a great addition to any party
Noble	100 Dabux	– Mercenary Reduces mercenary prices by 25%	If you have an army of 10 Mercenaries with Muskets, you can pretty much win the game by yourself. The Noble starts with one and gets a nice discount when recruiting new ones. Not to mention, Mercenaries don’t need bullets. It feels almost like a cheat.

A-Tier

Class	Unlock	Starting items and passives	Info
Merchant	Like and join the Roblox Group	– 100 Coins – Reduces food prices by 25%	If you’re just learning the game, there isn’t a better class than this. With 100 gold, you can shape your Merchant to be whatever you want. Try all weapons, see what works for you, and just roll with it. Amazing class during early game.
Swordman	25 Dabux	– Sword – Increases sword speed by 50%	Enemies in Dark Journey hit very slow, and with 50% sword speed, you’ll kill them before they even get a chance to fight back. Just don’t use other weapons and you’ll be a killing machine.
Farmer	100 Dabux	– Chicken – Pig – Reduces animal prices by 50%	Chickens and Pigs are similar to mercenaries. They are great, and Chickens can even multiply if you are lucky. However, unlike Mercenaries who fire from a distance, the animals just charge at enemies and take a lot of damage, often dying. Because of this, the Farmer just isnt’ as good.

B-Tier

Bomber	75 Dabux	– 4 x Bomb – Torch – Reduce damage from explosion – Reduce mobm prices by 50%	Bombers are amazing… as long as they have bombs. If you can make sure you place your bombs correctly (and not kill your group members and yourself), you can take down entire armies. The problem is: you always need bombs.
Priest	– Purify 100 Evil Corpses (sell monster corpses to the church for money)	– 2 x Crucifix – 2 x Holy Water – Reduce Crucifix prices by 50%	If you can arm a Priest with Crucifixes you can dominate the battlefield. However, if you are fighting non-monsters, then the Priest is very average.
Doctor	25 Dabux	– 4 x Herb – Reduce herb prices by 50%	The dedicated healer. Heal yourself and the party with Herbs, especially with the passive. However, you aren’t great in a fight. Definitely fit for groups but not great solo.

C-Tier

Class	Unlock	Starting items and passives	Info
Pirate	50 Dabux	– Pistol – 10 x Pistol Ammo – Reduces Pistol reload speed by 25%	Guns are somewhat unreliable in Dark Journey because they take too long to reload. Not only that but you need ammo for each gun type. This is why we don’t like the Pirate class very much
Gunman	25 Dabux	– Musket – 10 x Mustket Ammo – Reduces Musket reload speed by 25%	Same as Pirate, but you start with a Musket… which takes even longer to reload.

Dark Journey Weapon Tier List

Even though there aren’t that many weapons in Dark Journey, some are just more useful than others. Here is our list:

S-Tier

Weapon	Info
Spear	What makes spears great? They can pierce through enemies. In fact, in one good spear thrust, you can damage up to 4 enemies. If you funnel the enemies into a straight line, you can destroy them all with a Spear.
Mercenary	Mercenaries have Muskets, but they never run out of bullets, and you can carry them around

A-Tier

Weapon	Info
Sword	Swords are great. They swing fast, do a lot of damage, and are great in any situation. Not as effective as Spears, but still great, especially if you are a Swordman.
Crucifix	These items can banish monsters. Very useful to have, no matter which class you play as.

B-Tier

Weapon	Info
Pig	Similar to Chickens, except they can’t multiply as easily. They do hit harder, so it’s not bad to have a few.
Chicken	A Chicken isn’t all that powerful on itself. But if you buy a few of them, use their Eggs to get more, and maybe even use the Farmer class, you’ll have an army of unstoppable domestic birds. Unfortunately, they do like to charge at enemies and often die too easily.

C-Tier

Weapon	Info
Pistol	Powerful, but can only fire one shot at a time, and the reload takes forever.
Musket	Same as Pistol, but more powerful, and reloading takes even longer.

Dark Journey Item Tier List

Weapons and Classes are nice, but you will also need to know about the best items in Dark Journey. These can definitely turn the tide of battle, especially if you get creative with them. We will only be covering non-weapon items. Here is our list:

S-Tier

Item	Info
Plank	What can you do with a Plank? Only everything. Place it on your cart and make a barricade. Turn it into a ladder so you can climb on top of your card and gun down enemies. It’s incredible how much simple wooden planks can help

A-Tier

Item	Info
Herb	Herbs heal you and your teammates. That’s all you need to know
Holy Water	A cup of Holy Water can revive a party member. Only useful if you’re playing in a group. You can’t revive yourself with Holy Water.

B-Tier

Item	Info
Bomb	Bombs explode when you light them up. If done right, you can take out an entire army. If done wrong, you can take out your own party. Practice makes perfect.
Torch	Hits harder than a stick and it can light bombs.

C-Tier

Item	Info
Food (Any)	There’s very little reason why you’d want to buy Food from merchants especially when you can feed your horse corpses of enemies. The only time we buy food items is when we start a new run.
