Rob Riggle will play Frank West in that Dead Rising movie

You know what? I’m okay with this

In addition to the previously announced Jesse Metcalfe, Meghan Ory, Virginia Madsen, and Dennis Haysbert, Aleks Paunovic, Harley Morenstein, and Keegan Connor Tracey will join the Dead Rising film project.

Oh, and Rob Riggle was cast as Frank West. Love him or hate him, I can definitely see a little Frank West in Riggle — especially considering the fact that he was on The Daily Show and is a retired marine. Perfect “I covered wars” and action movie potential.

The movie is called Dead Rising: Watchtower, and will be released straight to video, so don’t expect a masterpiece however.
