Kunio-kun fans hotly-anticipating WayForward’s River City Girls received a little bit of bonus news this past weekend, as publisher Arc System Works revealed that River City Melee Mach!! will be heading digitally to PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch on October 10.

A revamped edition of River City Melee: Battle Royale Special, Mach!! sees the mammoth roster of the River City/Kunio-kun series gather to partake in a free-for-all fighting tournament, which mysteriously coincides with a rash of violent assaults happening around town – as if that doesn’t occur in River City EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Melee Mach!!
allows up to four players to fight it out with fists, feet and random weaponry, with the game boasting around 180 characters, over 250 special moves, and 30 teams. Mach!! includes characters, stages and items not featured in the original release, as well as support for online rumbles and even a music gallery, so you can enjoy the game’s awesome soundtrack when you ain’t bustin’ noses.

River City Melee Mach!! launches October 10 on PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch, priced at around $14.
