Rising Star bringing Carrier Command to the US in Q3 2012

Remember that cult-hit game Carrier Command from the 80’s? Yeah, neither do I. To be fair, I wasn’t even born yet. They don’t call me the resident baby at Destructoid for nothing! Anyway, if you’re not in the know, Bohemia Interactive is working on a reboot of the title called Carrier Command: Gaea Mission that blends third and first-person gameplay with the strategy elements of the seminal title. It was also recently announced that Rising Star Games will be helping Bohemia bring the game to the US on the Xbox 360 and PC in Q3 of this year.

I’m not really that into strategy games, but I truly do like anything where you can blow stuff up. So, I’ll be excited for that. Rising Star sent over quite a few new screenshots, and I’ve added Bohemia’s presentation of the game that they gave at E3 this year for your viewing pleasure, so be sure to check those out. Also be sure to read our E3 preview of Gaea Mission from a few weeks ago.
