Digital expansion up for pre-order now
BioWare has announced Rise of the Hutt Cartel, a forthcoming digital expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Available in spring 2013, this voiced story content will take place on Makeb and raise the level cap by five levels, up to level 55.
Though the game’s transition to free-to-play has been disappointing in its restrictions, this expansion will be $19.99 for those non-paying players, and if they pre-order by January 7, they’ll receive five days of early access and get Preferred Status. That’s one option. For Old Republic subscribers, Rise of the Hutt Cartel costs only $9.99.
