Ridge Racer is God in Japan; DS laughs at God; 360 looking for love

According to some new Japanese sales figures it appears as though what everyone thought would happen, did happen: Ridge Racer 7 was the best-selling game for Japanese PlayStation 3 buyers last week. As the PS3 ended up selling out with 81,639 units to end up the second-biggest console seller, the DS continues to invade every single home and crack in Japan as 148,174 were gobbled up — sweet science is there anyone in Japan that doesn’t have a DS?

Meanwhile, the poor Xbox 360 keeps waving its arms while jumping up and down to get as much attention as it can in the land of the rising sun. The American console sold a paltry 3,864 units for the week of Nov. 6 to Nov. 12.
