Resident Evil goes manga in a new series from Viz Media. Resident Evil: The Marhawa Desire serves as a prequel to Capcom’s Resident Evil 6, created by Naomi Serizawa. The 5-volume series launches November 18 on Viz’s Signature imprint.
It seems we’ll learn how the dreaded C-virus gets its start. A student suffers a transformation at Singapore’s Marhawa Academy. Soon after, Chris Redfield and his team are called in. Viz says the manga also gives us some back story to Chris’ partner, Piers Nivans.
