Resident Evil Chronicles Collection shambles to PSN

Strap on that PlayStation Move, it’s time to jam! Capcom is bringing the Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection to the PlayStation Network today, giving players another reason to search their living rooms for the seldom supported motion controller.

The release packages Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles with Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles to bring a pair of wonderful light gun shooters to the PlayStation 3. Those familiar with the Wii originals can attest to their quality, however unlike House of the Dead: Overkill – Extended Cut, there isn’t really any additional content here for players looking to experience the arcade shooters a second time around.

Still, that’s great news for those looking for a reason to use the Move or anyone interested in an abbreviated tour of Capcom’s legendary franchise. The Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection is available today via the PlayStation Store for $26.99, with each title available for purchase separately next month on July 17th for $14.99.
