Resident Evil: Afterlife gets its first trailer

Here’s our first look at the new Resident Evil movie and … oh wow. This … this actually looks good, you guys. Maybe it’s the Resident Evil fanboy in me speaking here, but this looks a lot better than expected. Along with the T-Virus infection, Afterlife will be dabbling with the Las Plagas as seen in Resident Evil 5. We don’t get to see Chris just yet, but Wesker is shown off, red eyes and all.

Milla Jovovich, Allie Larter and Paul Anderson were in San Francisco on Friday where they premiered the trailer to WonderCon attendees. The trailer was presented in 3D and Afterlife is employing the gimmicky 3D trick where it looks like things are being thrown right at your face! At least they’re using the Avatar movie 3D tech so it won’t be all bad.

Resident Evil: Afterlife will be hitting the big screens on September 10.
