Information dredged from the Resident Evil 6 demo files suggest that a fourth campaign will be tossed into the game, telling the story of series enigma Ada Wong. The info was drawn out by members of NeoGAF and GameFAQs.
Apparently, Ada will get her grappling hook back, but her co-op partner has been obscured, called only “HELPER” in the files. Other details involve the return of Crimson Heads, and vehicular sections involving a jeep, snowmobile, and harrier.
Interesting stuff, although with three campaigns featuring unique playstyles, I wonder how disjointed the overall game will feel, let alone with a fourth one added. I liked the demo, but I’m hoping the game doesn’t become unfocused as a result of trying audience-appeal-by-scattergun. I guess we’ll have to see how the whole game ties together.
