Seriously, I play Resident Evil 5 every night. I know I’ve made it clear in the past that I‘m not much of a fan of co-op gaming, but the magic formula for me seems to be the ability to play through a story with someone else rather than head-to-head challenges. At any rate, I’m having a blast, and I wish it would never end.
My wish may appear to be coming true with Capcom’s announcement that Versus mode will be available to download as of tomorrow! It will cost you 400 points through Xbox LIVE or $4.99 through the Playstation store. This mode allows you to play with up to four people and presents two new challenges: Slayer’s Rule, which is a point-based game that challenges you to kill Manjinis, or Survivor’s Rule, which pits the players up against one another. I know that’s normally not my cup of tea, but since I’ve been having so much fun with the game, I’m going to have to give it a spin. You gonna get it too?
