Resident Evil 5: over 4 million demos served, Red Xbox 360 details

Capcom’s Jun Takeuchi told MTV Multiplayer that the Resident Evil 5 demo did rather well, moving over 4 million downloads on the PS3 and Xbox 360. That’s pretty good for just a few week’s time, and a pretty good sign that the game is going to sell really well.

We’re with MTV in the worries that the single-player days of Resident Evil were over after seeing the cooperative element of Resident Evil 5. They went as far as to ask Takeuchi if we can have another single-player, single character Resident Evil in the future. He replies with a simple “Yes.”

Yes. I’d rather go solo on a survival horror. Call me crazy.
