We already knew that something called Desperate Escape was coming our way, but now we know more on what this DLC for Resident Evil 5 is about.
In my last story on the topic I suggested that Desperate Escape was about Chris and Jill eating at fine restaurants and then “dining and dashing.” Turns out that I was way off. As fun as that would have been, Escape tells the story of how Jill Valentine and BSAA Agent Josh Stone as they escape from the Tricell facility.
Jill was under mind control. Josh springs her. They sneak out at night. They fight baddies. They go find Chris and Sheva. They kick ass.
Between this and the other DLC, Lost in Nightmares, you’ll spend plenty more quality time with RE5. Along with this, new costumes are coming. Sheva gets a business look while Chris goes all metal. All of this stuff will be on Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition when it comes out.
