Resident Evil 5 ‘Desperate Escape’ DLC hits LIVE

PSA: the second big chunk of Resident Evil 5 campaign DLC, “Desperate Escape,” is available over Xbox LIVE Marketplace now and will be so on March 4th for PSN.

If you weren’t aware, “Desperate Escape” is a “lost chapter” in the RE5 story arc that has puts you (and a pal) behind one of two turrets: Jill Valentine and Josh Stone. It appears the duo must escape from some weirdo zombie facility right before RE5 proper’s Chris and Sheva drill Wesker in his cute little orange spot over and over again. We haven’t tried this one out quite yet, but we’re hoping — and by that I mean “praying” — that a piano will be included in this particular downloadable. There’s nothing quite like a music-based QTE in a game about zombies.
