It looks like Capcom’s previously teased Resident Evil 4 demo will be with us by sundown. At least that’s the word going around on Twitch, where a pop-up ad appears to have jumped the gun a little bit early.

According to Twitch users, a new ad for the upcoming remake has been frequently popping up on the streaming service, emblazoned with the words “Demo Available Now”. Given that Capcom has a live stream showcase planned for later today featuring Resident Evil 4, it seems to be a snug assumption that the demo will drop in tandem, likely across PlayStation, PC, and Xbox platforms.

The tweet below features the ad, as spotted by fans @Jbiootyful and @DanisabeastXD. Lordy.

The Capcom Spotlight showcase kicks off at 14:30 PT / 17:30 ET / 23:30 BST, with a brief pre-show scheduled 15 minutes beforehand. You will be able to check out the live stream for yourself over on the official Capcom YouTube and Twitch channels, where we are expected to hear updates on futuristic dinosaur battle Exoprimal, monster… erm… hunter Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, as well as new info pertaining to Mega Man Battle Network, and, obviously, Resident Evil 4 itself.

We’ll be sure to bring you all of the news from the stream right here on Destructoid.
