Reserve Uncharted 2, get gold guns, a map, or more currency

GameStop isn’t the only place in your town — provided that it’s bustling or has less than three pawn shops — where you can nab a nifty pre-order item for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Kotaku recently compiled quite the impressive list of different retailer offerings; most are good, but one seems just … odd.

As we previously reported, GameStop’s bonus is a downloadable code for the “Revenge” multiplayer attribute — one of the last attributes fickle players will have to earn through normal play. GameCrazy is offering a “Currency Multiplier.” Unlike the “Revenge attribute, this bad boy is a limited sort of thing that will boost earnings in multiplayer for a period of time. The reserve bonus through Amazon is a “Treasure Map,” which should help those looking for hidden objects scattered throughout. And lastly (and the most odd) is Best Buy’s offering: gold guns.

Hey, Naughty Dog. EA Montreal just called. They want their Army of Two gimmick back.

According to Kotaku, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is dropping on October 13th. That should give you plenty of time to reason out which pre-order bonus is the best for you. If it’s any help, Salem and Rio told us earlier this morning that they are “100 percent behind the bling-bling guns.” They fist-bumped to punctuate the endorsement.
